Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) builds parts layer by layer from thermoplastic filament. A heated nozzle melts the material and deposits it along precise toolpaths, creating durable parts suitable for functional testing, jigs, fixtures, and low-volume production.
FDM is the most versatile 3D printing technology, supporting a wide range of engineering materials from PLA for quick prototypes to carbon-fiber-reinforced polycarbonate for extreme stiffness. Parts can be post-processed with sanding, painting, or vapor smoothing.

What file formats do you accept?
We accept STL and STEP files. For best results, export meshes at high resolution with watertight geometry.
What is the minimum wall thickness for FDM?
We recommend a minimum wall thickness of 1.2 mm (3 perimeters at 0.4 mm nozzle). Thinner walls may print but are fragile.
How accurate is FDM printing?
Typical dimensional tolerance is ±0.15 mm. For critical dimensions, we can apply post-processing or adjust toolpaths.
Can FDM parts be used outdoors?
Yes — ASA is specifically designed for UV exposure and outdoor use. PETG also offers good weathering resistance.
How long does delivery take?
