PA12 is a fine nylon powder processed by Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). A laser selectively fuses powder particles layer by layer, producing parts with complex internal geometries, interlocking features, and uniform mechanical properties in all directions.
Unlike FDM, SLS requires no support structures — unfused powder supports the part during printing. This enables designs impossible with any other 3D printing technology: lattice structures, internal channels, and assemblies printed as a single piece.

What surface finish does SLS produce?
SLS parts have a slightly grainy, matte texture from the powder process. Parts can be dyed, tumble-polished, or vapor-smoothed for smoother finishes.
Can SLS parts be dyed?

What is the minimum feature size for SLS?
Minimum wall thickness is 0.7 mm, minimum detail size is 0.3 mm. For best results, design walls at 1.0 mm or thicker.
