Medical Industry Challenges

Patient-Specific Requirements

Every patient's anatomy is unique. Mass-produced devices and guides cannot match the precision of patient-specific designs derived from CT/MRI data.

Regulatory Complexity

Medical devices require biocompatibility documentation, traceability, and compliance with ISO 13485 quality management systems.

Development Speed

Medical device development cycles are long and expensive. Faster prototyping reduces time-to-market and enables more design iterations within regulatory timelines.

3D Printing Solutions for Medical

Patient-Specific Surgical Guides

Print custom cutting and drilling guides from CT scan data using biocompatible resins. Improve surgical accuracy and reduce operating time.

Anatomical Planning Models

3D print patient-specific anatomical models for pre-operative planning, surgical rehearsal, and patient communication.

Device Housing Prototypes

Rapidly iterate on medical device enclosures and housings with functional prototypes in engineering-grade materials.

Low-Volume Production

Produce small batches of specialized medical components without mold investment — ideal for Class I/II devices with limited annual volumes.

Recommended Materials

Quality & Compliance

We provide material datasheets and batch traceability for all medical printing projects. Our biocompatible resin options are suitable for short-term skin contact and non-implant applications. For Class IIa+ devices, we recommend consulting with your regulatory team on material selection and can provide documentation to support your quality management system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your resins biocompatible?

We offer biocompatible resin formulations suitable for short-term mucosal and skin contact applications. Material datasheets with cytotoxicity testing data are available.

Can you print from DICOM/medical imaging data?

We accept STL files derived from CT or MRI scans. You can use free tools like 3D Slicer to segment and export the anatomy as STL.

What sterilization methods are compatible?

PA12 (SLS) supports autoclave sterilization. Resin parts can be sterilized with EtO or cold sterilization. Material-specific guidance is available on request.

Do you have ISO 13485 certification?

We are not ISO 13485 certified. We provide material documentation and traceability to support your certified quality management system.

What is the typical lead time for surgical guides?

3–5 business days from receipt of the final STL file. Rush delivery is available for urgent surgical cases.
