FAQ

Common questions about materials, pricing, lead times, and the quoting tool.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept STL and STEP files. STL is the standard 3D printing format, exportable from virtually any CAD tool. STEP preserves precise geometry — the better choice when your model has curved surfaces or tight tolerances. Both work with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, FreeCAD, Blender, and most CAD applications.

How long does it take to get a quote?

You'll see a price estimate as soon as your file is sliced, which is usually about 30–90 seconds after upload. After that, you can tweak things like material, quality, quantity, and lead time and watch the price update as you change options.

What is the maximum part size?

Our build envelope is 500 × 500 × 500 mm. If your part is larger, we can usually split it into sections and assemble it afterward, so just reach out if you're planning a multi-part job.

What materials do you offer?

For FDM we offer PLA, PETG, ASA, PA (Nylon), PC-CF (carbon-fiber reinforced polycarbonate), PA-GF (glass-filled nylon), and PP. PLA is the all-purpose workhorse; PETG adds chemical resistance and toughness; ASA handles UV and outdoor exposure; PA, PC-CF, and PA-GF cover structural loads; PP delivers flexibility and fatigue resistance. SLS uses PA12 powder; mSLA uses photopolymer resin. See the quote tool for current options.

How accurate are the printed parts?

Typical dimensional accuracy is around ±0.15 mm, but it can vary depending on the layer height profile you choose and the material. For more detailed expectations by profile, check the quality page.

What does "Express" mean?

Express orders jump to the front of the production queue and include an 80% surcharge. Standard lead time is about 14 working days, while express is prioritized into the earliest available slot.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is calculated automatically based on material usage (by weight), print time, quantity, and lead time. Volume discounts kick in at 10+ units and again at 50+ units.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment we serve customers in Italy and across the EU. If you're outside those regions, contact us anyway and we'll do our best to accommodate shipping.

Can I cancel or modify an order?

You can change your quote options anytime before you submit a verification request. Once a quote is confirmed and production has started, cancellation may not be possible, so it's best to contact us as soon as you know you need changes.
