2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, requesting a quote, or placing an order you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all services offered through mabs3d.com, including custom manufacturing quotes, the online shop, and 3D scanning. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Services

We offer the following services:

  • Custom 3D printing: FDM/FFF, mSLA (resin), and SLS (selective laser sintering). Quotes are generated automatically and may be adjusted after manual review.
  • 3D scanning: professional 3D scanning and reverse-engineering services.
  • Online shop: sale of 3D printing accessories, sensors, and equipment.

4. Quoting & Custom Orders

  • Quotes generated through our online tool are non-binding estimates.
  • A quote becomes a binding order only after we confirm it following manual review.
  • Prices may be adjusted based on geometry complexity, material requirements, or manual review outcomes.
  • Custom 3D-printed items are manufactured to your specifications and are considered made-to-order.

5. Shop Purchases

  • Products listed in the shop are sold subject to availability.
  • A purchase contract is formed when you complete the checkout and receive our order confirmation email.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or suspected fraud.

6. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in EUR. VAT is applied according to the applicable rate for your country.
  • For custom orders: payment is due upon order confirmation. You will receive an email with payment options.
  • For shop orders: payment is due at checkout. You will receive an email with payment links (card via Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer).
  • Orders are processed after payment is received and verified.

7. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to Italy, the EU, and selected international destinations.
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure do not constitute grounds for cancellation.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

8. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Italy by D.Lgs. 206/2005, Art. 52).

  • To exercise this right, contact us at info@prototiprint.it with your order number before the 14-day period expires.
  • You must return the goods in their original condition, unused and in original packaging, at your expense.
  • We will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Exception: made-to-order items. Custom 3D-printed parts manufactured to your specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal (Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU), as they are goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

9. Legal Guarantee

All goods sold through the shop are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (EU Directive 2019/771, implemented in Italy by D.Lgs. 206/2005, Art. 128–135).

  • If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you may request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the contract.
  • Defects that appear within one year of delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.
  • To report a defect, contact info@prototiprint.it with your order number and a description of the issue.

10. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your uploaded designs and 3D models.
  • We do not claim ownership of any files you upload.
  • We will not share, sell, or distribute your designs to third parties.
  • All content on this website (text, images, logos, software) is our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Liability

  • Custom parts are produced as-is based on your specifications. We are not responsible for design defects in the uploaded models.
  • We do not guarantee suitability for any specific application, load-bearing, medical, or safety-critical use.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the order, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Cancellations

  • Quotes can be modified or cancelled before confirmation.
  • Once production has started on a custom order, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Shop orders may be cancelled before shipment by contacting us at info@prototiprint.it.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. For consumers resident in the EU, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply where they provide greater protection. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brescia, except where mandatory law grants jurisdiction to the courts of the consumer's place of residence.

EU Online Dispute Resolution: you may submit a complaint via the European Commission's ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (Regulation (EU) 524/2013).
