What is mSLA 3D Printing?

Masked Stereolithography (mSLA) cures liquid photopolymer resin using an LED light source masked by an LCD screen. Each layer is exposed simultaneously across the entire build area, producing parts with exceptional surface finish and micron-level detail.

mSLA excels where surface quality and dimensional precision matter most. With layer heights as fine as 25 microns, it produces parts that rival injection molding in visual quality, ideal for jewelry masters, dental models, miniatures, and precision engineering components.

Frequently Asked Questions

How detailed can mSLA printing get?

Our mSLA printers achieve XY resolution of 50 microns and layer heights down to 25 microns, capturing details invisible to most other 3D printing methods.

Are resin prints durable?

Standard resins are rigid and detailed but more brittle than thermoplastics. For functional parts, we offer tough and flexible resin formulations.

Do resin parts need post-processing?

All resin parts are washed in isopropyl alcohol and UV post-cured. Support marks are removed and surfaces can be sanded or painted.

Can mSLA be used for production parts?

mSLA is ideal for small to medium batches where surface quality matters. For high volumes, consider FDM or SLS.

How long does delivery take?

Standard lead time is 3–5 business days from order confirmation. Complex models may take longer due to print orientation optimization.
